🧒 Children under 14 attend for free, but must be registered.

Please note: Acronia is not a child-friendly festival.

💪 Helpers & Angels

Every participant takes on one 4-hour volunteer shift.

Acronia is a self-organized, non-profit, participatory festival — it only exists thanks to everyone’s helping hands.

We’re deeply grateful for each and every one of you who makes this magic possible! ✨

  • The helper schedule will be sent out 1–2 months before the festival.
  • The setup/takedown deposit will be refunded within 14 days after the festival.
  • Please arrive on time for your shift or let us know early if you can’t make it — the whole community depends on you!

🏕️ On Site

Find detailed directions to Auerstedt on our website.

🚍 Bus line 286 runs from Apolda to Auerstedt, but only on weekdays until around 6 PM.

We provide a large camping area for tents, buses, and campers.

Unfortunately, there are no water or electricity hookups for campers.

Please don’t camp or hang hammocks in the forest — in case of storms, falling branches from old poplar trees can be dangerous.

You’ll find:

  • 🚽 Several toilet trailers
  • 🚿 A heated shower trailer + outdoor showers
  • 🔥 Two saunas and a hot tub

There’s no lake or river directly in Auerstedt, but the Ilm (5 km) and Saale (7 km) offer great swimming spots — easily reachable by bike!

🌻 When leaving the festival site, please remember that Auerstedt is home to local villagers, some quite traditional.

Be kind, respectful, and spread good vibes only. 💛

🤸 Workshops

Our heart beats for Acroyoga and acrobatics of all kinds — but the program goes far beyond that!

We’ll offer workshops for all skill levels, from curious beginners to full-time acrobats.

You can also expect plenty of space for:

  • Aerial arts
  • Juggling & fire performance
  • Slackline & hula hoop dance
  • Yoga and other creative activities

There will be both scheduled workshops with teachers and an open space where you can offer your own sessions.

We’ll set up circus tents and shade sails for comfort and weather protection.

The workshop schedule will be emailed about one month before the festival.

Evenings bring magic — expect saunas, campfires, music & singing circles, firespace, concerts, a gala show, and many surprises!

🥗 Food

We’ll treat you to delicious vegan full catering again this year.

Bring your favorite mug and refillable bottle — our on-site water sources provide high-quality drinking water, hot or cold!

We provide tea, water, and coffee — everything else (like beer 🍻) is up to you.

The nearest grocery store (Netto) is about 4 km away.

If you have special dietary needs, mention them during registration — we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

🎒 Packing List

Here’s what you should definitely bring:

Water bottle – refill stations everywhere

Towels – for showers & saunas

Tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, maybe a cozy extra blanket

Warm & cool clothing – days can be hot, nights chilly (late August!)

Toothbrush & biodegradable hygiene products (toothpaste, soap, shampoo, sunscreen)

Your favorite fun gear: instruments, juggling toys, hula hoops, games, water pistols, frisbees, crafts — anything joyful!

Plain shirt to print with the Acronia logo 👕

Yoga mat for flying, stretching & relaxing

Pocket ashtray if you smoke — keep the grounds clean 🌱

🚭 All dining areas are smoke-free. Please be mindful of others.

💜 Awareness

Acronia aims to be a safe and respectful space for all.

Alongside our medical team, we’ll again have a dedicated Care & Awareness Team.

Awareness means:

  • Respectful, mindful interaction
  • No discrimination or harassment
  • Zero tolerance for violence or boundary violations

We’re building structures that allow everyone to feel free, safe, and accepted.

If you need support — or just someone to talk to — we’re here for you. 💬

Let’s co-create a festival filled with love, care, and connection. 🌈

🐕 Dogs

As much as we love dogs, please don’t bring them to the festival.

If it’s truly impossible to come without your furry friend, email us first.

All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.

🦙 Llamas, monkeys, and acrolotls are always welcome! 😉

🎒 Lost & Found

Did one of your belongings decide to stay behind at Acronia?

Write us an email by the Wednesday after the festival, and we’ll search for it among our boxes.

After that, all items are stored in Auerstedt.

If you realize something’s missing later, we can look for it during the next setup week.

Unclaimed items find a new home at the Give-Away Tent.

📸 Photos

Please note: Photo and video recordings will be made during the event.

We use them for documentation and festival communication (permitted under Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

By registering, participants agree to the use of photos and videos for these purposes.

We will never publish images showing nudity. If you find a photo of yourself that you’d like removed, email us at info@acronia.de
